A Sad Day
Ladies and Gentlemen, as of March 19th, 2003, the Fiero most commonly known as "Mel", has gone to be with the great falling of 2003.

Today we begin disassembly. This met us with some challenges. We have
never torn much of the body off of the Fiero before, so all of this was Uncharted
territory. Nothing like a good challenge.

The car goes in! I'm not sure I really want to admit how we moved the car in or not. I gave the existing cradle to my brother who had recently purchaced a beautiful '84 with only 61,000 on it and a rotten cradle. We got the car for $100! My '84 was on jack stands in the driveway, and I don't have a cherry picker, or any kind of dolly to move it with, so we had to get inventive. Keep in mind when I tell you this, the '84 has no rear cradle, so no engine, tranny, shocks, etc. Very light in the back.
